Phillips 66 Guardol Fleet EC®, Kendall Super-D® EC diesel engine oils as well as Guardol® NG-D are now synthetic blend formulations delivering increased value. By transitioning to synthetic blend formulations, our diesel engine oils provide enhanced performance and benefits across a wide range of applications.
Enhanced Diesel Engine Oils:
Phillips 66 Guardol Fleet EC (Emissions Compatible) and Kendall Super-D EC are synthetic blend engine oils, available in SAE 10W-30 and 15W-40 grades. These oils have been specifically developed for use in four-stroke cycle diesel engines designed to comply with 2007 and later EPA on-highway exhaust emissions standards. They are engineered to be compatible with exhaust aftertreatment systems, including diesel particulate filters (DPFs), diesel oxidation catalysts (DOCs), and selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems. Additionally, these oils are licensed for API CK-4 and meet or exceed the performance requirements of major North American OEMs. They can also be used in pre-2007 diesel engines.
Optimized for Diverse Engines:
Phillips 66 Guardol NG-D is a premium synthetic blend engine oil suitable for use in both natural gas (Cummins CES 20092) and diesel engines (API CK-4, CES 20086, and others), as well as gasoline engines (API SN) that require a compatible viscosity grade. This oil is formulated with optimal levels of anti-wear additives to provide enhanced wear protection for diesel engines, including those converted to natural gas service. It is particularly recommended for transit buses, school buses, delivery trucks, and other vehicles equipped with Cummins, Detroit Diesel, Volvo, or converted CNG engines. Guardol NG-D is an ideal choice when a fleet requires a versatile engine oil solution.
