Strong Performance at Watkins Glen
The Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen once again delivered the strategy, speed and endurance that have made it one of IMSA’s premier events. Battling changing track conditions, traffic and six hours of nonstop competition, the No. 93 Acura MSR team earned another podium finish in second place, continuing a season marked by consistent performances against a highly competitive GTP field.
In addition to another strong finish, the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen provided valuable exposure for the Phillips 66® Lubricants and Kendall® Motor Oil brands. Broadcast coverage, digital content and on-site branding throughout the event helped increase visibility among racing fans while reinforcing the brands’ presence in one of North America’s premier endurance racing series.
Battling to Fourth at Road America
The No. 93 Acura MSR team continued its strong 2026 campaign at the Motul SportsCar Endurance Grand Prix at Road America, securing a fourth-place finish in the event’s inaugural six-hour format.
After starting from pole, the No. 93 remained in contention throughout a challenging race. An early pit-lane penalty dropped the car back in the field, but the team steadily worked its way forward through changing strategies and multiple caution periods. A well-timed final pit stop helped move the No. 93 back into fourth, where Renger van der Zande held position through the closing laps to secure another strong result.
Following Road America, the No. 93 remains second in the GTP championship standings and fourth in the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup standings—continuing to demonstrate the consistency and resilience that have defined the team’s 2026 season.
Next Stop: Virginia International Raceway
The season continues August 21–23 at the Michelin GT Challenge at VIR, where the No. 93 Acura MSR team will take on one of North America’s most technical road courses.
Known for its fast corners, elevation changes and demanding braking zones, Virginia International Raceway requires precision from both drivers and equipment.
